Welcome to our Whippets - which have recently joined us from New Zealand.

Having known Lynda Watson from Shenace Whippets for many years - it was not until a recent visit to the Whippet Speciality Show in Melbourne that I finally succumbed to a wish I had had for a very long time - so it was on to the 'phone with an appeal for help!

She had just had a litter out of the very beautiful BIS Kana-Ka Don't Ask Directions to Shenace (Holly)(out of NZ Ch Kana-ka The Cream of Society x NZ Ch Devine In My Opinion at Kana-ka). The sire of the litter was the gorgeous BIS Aust & NZ Ch Shenace Good on Ya - "Alex".   Alex won Best In Show at the Hound Show under the world renowned judge Frank Kane - which was a tremendous thrill. Alex now lives in South Australia with Kerry Hutt and Geoff Love.

Alex was sired by BISS Aust & NZ Ch Taejaan As Good as it Gets, and his dam was the Multi BIS/BISS NZ Grand Champion Shenace Back at Ya. With a pedigree like this - who could resist?

Being me however ... I didn't want to hit the very competitive Hound ring with a Baby Puppy ... so another call to Lynda resulted in her beautifu daughter Kate (mum of Kana-ka Don't Ask Directions) allowing us to have Holly here in Melbourne on holiday for a while.

So we flew over to collect Holly and her daughter Alice ... Cathy fell in love with Ashton ... so we came home with three whippets not two - with Lynda sitting at the departure lounge wondering what had just hit her.

All three are making their mark in the ring - although I see photos of the events only ... as of COURSE Whippets clash with Pugs every single time!
